## Biography

Óscar Faura is a Spanish cinematographer. He graduated from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) and has worked as a cinematographer since 1999.

Faura is known for his collaborations with director J. A. Bayona on *The Orphanage* (2007), *The Impossible* (2012), *A Monster Calls* (2016) and *Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom* (2018). His other credits include *The Imitation Game* (2014), for which he received an ASC nomination, and episodes of the television series *The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power* (2022). He won a Goya Award for Best Cinematography for *A Monster Calls*.
