## Biography

Ossama Bawardi is a Palestinian producer working in Palestine and Jordan. He began his career in production roles on films including *Paradise Now* (2005) and *Salt of This Sea* (2008). In 2010 he joined Philistine Films, the company founded by Annemarie Jacir, where he has expanded its work in production services and international co-productions. He is a member of the EAVE Producers Network and the Asia Pacific Screen Academy.

Bawardi has produced several of Jacir’s features, including *When I Saw You* (2013) and *Wajib* (2017), the latter winning more than thirty international awards. Other credits include the Oscar-nominated short *The Present* (2020), *I Was a Stranger* (2024) and *Palestine 36* (2025). He has also worked as a line producer on projects such as *3,000 Nights* (2015) and *The Translator* (2021), and has appeared as an actor in a small number of films.
