Kahn was born on 21 February 1867 in Mannheim, in the Grand Duchy of Baden (now Baden-Württemberg, Germany). He worked as a producer on several films, including *¡Que viva Mexico!* (1932) and *Thunder Over Mexico* (1933), under the name Kenneth Outwater. He died on 29 March 1934 in New York City.
