Pablo Alvarez-Mesa, also credited as Pablo Alvarez-Mesa, is a filmmaker, cinematographer, editor and director working primarily in non-fiction. He is based in Montreal and of Colombian origin.

His cinematography credits include *Fire of Love* (2022), directed by Sara Dosa, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature. He has also served as cinematographer on films such as *Landfall* (2020) and *Adrianne & the Castle* (2024). As a director, his works include the short *Bicentenario* (2020) and the feature *La Laguna del Soldado* (2024).

His films have screened at festivals including Berlinale, IFFR, Viennale and RIDM. He is a Sundance Documentary Fund grantee and an alumnus of Berlinale Talents, the Banff Centre for the Arts and the Canadian Film Centre.
