## Biography

Pablo Plaisted is an Australian visual effects artist, layout supervisor and cinematographer working primarily in animation. He began his career in Australia on the television series *Stevie Stardust* (1999–2000) before moving into animation and previs work at companies including Dr D Studios and Animal Logic.

Plaisted is known for his contributions to several Lego films. On *The Lego Movie* (2014) he served as both layout supervisor and director of photography. He later worked as pre-visualisation supervisor on *The Lego Batman Movie* (2017) and as associate layout supervisor on *The Lego Ninjago Movie* (2017). Earlier credits include senior animator on *Happy Feet* (2006) and lead previs artist on *Mad Max: Fury Road* (2015).

More recent work includes head of layout on *The Monkey King* (2023) and previs roles on films such as *Blue Beetle* (2023).
