## Biography

Pamela Norris is an American screenwriter and producer. She began her career writing for the NBC sketch comedy series *Saturday Night Live* from 1980 to 1984. She later wrote episodes for series including *Remington Steele* (1985), *Miami Vice* (1987) and *Ghost Whisperer* (2010), and co-wrote the screenplay for the 1989 film *Troop Beverly Hills*.

Norris served as a producer on *Designing Women* (1989–1992), for which she received Emmy nominations, and was executive producer of *The Huntress* (2000–2001). She created the series *The Simple Life* (1998). She was educated at Harvard College.
