Pasquale Festa Campanile (28 July 1927 – 25 February 1986) was an Italian screenwriter, film director and novelist. Born in Melfi, Basilicata, he moved to Rome at a young age and began his career as a writer and literary critic before entering cinema as a screenwriter in the late 1940s.

He contributed to the screenplays for Luchino Visconti's *Rocco and His Brothers* (1960) and *The Leopard* (1963), as well as films such as *Poor But Beautiful* (1957) and *The Four Days of Naples* (1962). From the 1970s he directed numerous features, often in the commedia all'italiana genre, including *Hitch Hike* (1977), *Soldier of Fortune* (1976), *Bingo Bongo* (1982) and *Rich and Poor* (1983).
