Patricia Green is an American television writer and producer, also credited as Patricia M. Green. She wrote episodes of *Cagney & Lacey* and served as a producer on the series, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series in 1985 for the episode "Who Said It's Fair" (Part II) and a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in 1986.

She later worked as a supervising producer and writer on *China Beach*, winning a Humanitas Prize in 1989, and as a writer and supervising producer (later executive producer) on *L.A. Law*. Green developed the series *Christy* (1994–1995) and contributed as a writer and producer on *Chicago Hope*. Her other writing credits include episodes of *Eight Is Enough*, *North and South* (1985) and *The District*.
