## Biography

Patricia Hart, also credited as Patricia L. Hart, was an American costume designer who worked in Chicago theatre and film. She studied costume design at the Goodman School of Drama after earlier training in theatre and dance at the University of Denver.

Hart was resident designer for Pary Production Company, which she co-founded, and designed for venues including Victory Gardens, Touchstone Theatre and Next Theatre. She received Joseph Jefferson citation awards for her work on Pary’s *Josephine, the Mouse Singer* and Next’s *Nightingale*. In film she provided wardrobe for *Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer* (1986) and costume design, credited as Patricia L. Hart, for its 1996 sequel.

Hart died in Chicago in 2011.
