## Biography

Patricia Laffan (also credited as Patricia Alice Laffan) was an English actress who appeared in stage, film, television and radio productions. She trained at the Douglas-Webber School and made her stage debut in 1937, with screen work from the mid-1940s.

She is known for her film roles as Poppaea in *Quo Vadis* (1951), Nyah in *Devil Girl from Mars* (1954) and Miss Alice MacDonald in *23 Paces to Baker Street* (1956). Laffan retired from acting in the mid-1960s and later produced and choreographed international fashion shows.
