## Biography

Patricia Mazuy is a French film director and screenwriter. Born in 1960 in Dijon, she began her career as an editor, working on Agnès Varda's *Vagabond* (1985).

Her debut feature, *Peaux de vaches* (1989), screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival and received a César nomination for Best First Feature. Subsequent films include *Saint-Cyr* (2000), also at Cannes Un Certain Regard; *Sport de filles* (2011); *Paul Sanchez est revenu!* (2018); *Bowling Saturne* (2022); and *La Prisonnière de Bordeaux* (2024). She has also directed television films and episodes, including *Travolta et moi* (1993). In 2025 she served on the jury for the First Feature Competition at the Locarno Film Festival.
