## Biography

Patrick Adiarte was a Filipino actor and dancer. Born in Manila, he emigrated to the United States as a child and began his career on Broadway, appearing as a replacement in the original production of *The King and I* before playing Prince Chulalongkorn on tour and in the 1956 film adaptation.

He later appeared as Wang San in the stage and screen versions of *Flower Drum Song* (1958 and 1961). Adiarte had recurring and guest roles on television, including as Ho-Jon in seven episodes of *M*A*S*H* (1972–1973), and appeared in episodes of *The Brady Bunch* (1972), *Hawaii Five-O* (1972) and *Kojak* (1974). After retiring from acting he taught tap dance at Santa Monica College. He was married to actress Loni Ackerman from 1985 to 1992.
