## Biography

Patrick J. Palmer was an American film producer and production manager. Born in Los Angeles, he began his career working with the Mirisch Company as a production manager on films including *West Side Story* (1961) and *Seven Days in May* (1964). He later served as associate producer on *Fiddler on the Roof* (1971) and *Rollerball* (1975).

Palmer had a long association with director Norman Jewison, collaborating on several films including *The Landlord* (1970), *Fiddler on the Roof*, *...And Justice for All* (1979), *Best Friends* (1982), *Iceman* (1984), *Agnes of God* (1985), *Moonstruck* (1987) and *Mermaids* (1990). He received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture as a producer on *A Soldier's Story* (1984), *Children of a Lesser God* (1986) and *Moonstruck*.

His other producing credits include *Don Juan DeMarco* (1995), *Blade II* (2002), *Hellboy* (2004) and *Little Children* (2006). He died in 2020.
