Patrick Mower (born Patrick Archibald Shaw) is an English actor. Born in Oxford on 12 September 1938, he trained as an engineering draughtsman before graduating from RADA. He began acting in the mid-1960s and first gained prominence in the early 1970s as the assassin James Cross in the ITV series *Callan*.

Mower has appeared in numerous films and television series, including *The Devil Rides Out* (1968), *Cry of the Banshee* (1970), *Carry On England* (1976), *Space: 1999* (1975) and *UFO* (1970). Since 2000 he has played Rodney Blackstock in the ITV soap opera *Emmerdale*. He has also featured in *The Avengers* (1966), *Special Branch* and *Target*.
