## Biography

Patrick Wayne is an American actor. Born Patrick John Morrison on 15 July 1939 in Los Angeles, he is the second son of actor John Wayne and his first wife, Josephine Alicia Saenz.

He appeared in more than 40 films, including nine with his father. His credits include uncredited roles in *Rio Grande* (1950) and *The Quiet Man* (1952), and credited parts in *The Searchers* (1956), *The Alamo* (1960) as Capt. James Butler Bonham, *McLintock!* (1963) and *Big Jake* (1971). He has also worked in television, with guest roles in series such as *MacGyver* and *Murder, She Wrote*.

Wayne hosted the 1990 revival of the game show *Tic-Tac-Dough* and the short-lived *Monte Carlo Show* in 1980.
