Patty McCormack is an American actress. Born Patricia Ellen Russo on 21 August 1945 in New York City, she began her career as a child performer. She originated the role of Rhoda Penmark in the 1954 Broadway production of *The Bad Seed* and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for the 1956 film adaptation.

McCormack has sustained a career in theatre, film and television for over seven decades.
