## Biography

Paul Stewart, also credited as Paul D. Stewart, is a British cinematographer and producer specialising in natural history and science documentaries. He has worked extensively with the BBC Natural History Unit on series including *Planet Earth* (2006), *Planet Earth II* (2016) and *Dynasties* (2018).

After graduating in zoology in 1987 and completing a doctorate at Oxford University, Stewart trained as a wildlife cameraman with the BBC before going freelance in 2000. He has contributed to Netflix productions such as *Our Planet* (2019) and *Prehistoric Planet* (2022), for which he also received writing and producing credits, as well as Disney Nature films including *Born in China* (2016). He has won three Primetime Emmys and multiple BAFTA awards for cinematography.
