Paul Erickson was a British screenwriter. Born Frederick Redwood Watts on 22 November 1920 in Cardiff, Wales, he died on 27 October 1991 in Lambeth, London.

He contributed episodes to numerous British television series, primarily in the crime drama genre, during the 1950s and 1960s. His credits include three scripts for the third season of *The Saint* (1962) and the *Doctor Who* serial *The Ark* (1966), co-credited with Lesley Scott. He also adapted William Tenn's short story "Time in Advance" for *Out of the Unknown* (1965) and wrote for *Paul Temple* (1970).

In 1986, Erickson novelised his *Doctor Who* story *The Ark* for Target Books.
