## Biography

Paul Fox is a Canadian film and television director from Toronto, Ontario. He is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York and the Canadian Film Centre.

His feature films include the psychological thriller *The Dark Hours* (2005) and the comedy *Everything's Gone Green* (2006), the latter of which won Best Canadian Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival. He has directed numerous television series, including 18 episodes of *Schitt's Creek* (2015–2017), as well as episodes of *Anne with an E* (2017), *Haven* (2010), *Lost Girl* (2010), *Rookie Blue* (2010), *Frontier* (2016), *Murdoch Mysteries* (2008) and *Coroner* (2019).

In 2016 he won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction in a Comedy Program for the *Schitt's Creek* episode "The Cabin" and received further nominations in the category.
