## Biography

Paul Gilbert is a British television producer and commissioning executive. He began his career as a development producer and script editor at BBC Drama Production and BBC Drama Northern Ireland.

He later served as head of drama development at Big Talk Productions, where he worked on series including *Houdini & Doyle* and *Our Zoo*. Gilbert produced the 2018 BBC and Masterpiece series *Press* and the second series of *Humans* (2016) for Channel 4 and AMC. As commissioning editor at Sky Studios he executive produced *The Fear Index* (2022) and other series including *Tin Star* and *The Lazarus Project*. In 2025 he was appointed senior vice-president of English-language series at STUDIOCANAL.
