Paul Harvey (also credited as R. Paul Harvey or Roy Paul Harvey) was an American character actor who appeared in at least 177 films between the silent era and the mid-1950s.

He began his career on stage and in silent films, later taking supporting roles in Hollywood productions, often as executives or authority figures. Notable credits include *The House of Rothschild* (1934) as Solomon Rothschild, *The Petrified Forest* (1936), *Spellbound* (1945), *Father of the Bride* (1950) as Reverend Galsworthy, *Sabrina* (1954) and *Calamity Jane* (1953). He also appeared in television series such as *I Love Lucy*.

Harvey was born in Sandwich, Illinois, and died in Los Angeles in 1955.
