## Biography

Paul Kirby is a British production designer and art director. He graduated in production design from the National Film and Television School in London and began his career working on films including *Chaplin* (1992).

He has served as art director on titles such as *Batman Begins* (2005) and *The Phantom of the Opera* (2004). His production design credits include *Captain Phillips* (2013), *Kingsman: The Secret Service* (2015), *Jason Bourne* (2016), *The Old Guard* (2020) and *Shazam! Fury of the Gods* (2023). He has also been credited as Paul Kirkby.

Kirby received Art Directors Guild nominations for his work on *Batman Begins* and *The Phantom of the Opera*.
