Paul Mayersberg is a British screenwriter and director. He worked briefly in advertising before entering the film industry as an assistant to directors including Joseph Losey. He was a founder-editor of *Movie* magazine and a critic for *New Society*, and he wrote the book *Hollywood: The Haunted House* (1967).
