Paul Mayhew-Archer is a British writer, producer and script editor. He co-wrote the BBC sitcom *The Vicar of Dibley* (1994–2007) with Richard Curtis, having previously worked as an English teacher and a producer in BBC Radio Light Entertainment.

His other credits include creating the series *My Hero* (2000–2006) and *Office Gossip* (2001), and writing the television film *Roald Dahl's Esio Trot* (2015) with Curtis. He has also served as script editor on series including *Mrs Brown's Boys* (2011–), *Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps* and *Miranda*.

Mayhew-Archer was educated at Eastbourne College and St Catharine's College, Cambridge. He received an MBE in 2020 for services to people with Parkinson's disease and cancer.
