## Biography

Paul Rice is a British animator, visual artist, director and writer. He worked on Cartoon Network’s *The Amazing World of Gumball* for six years across more than 200 episodes in multiple roles, including layout artist, previs and layout supervisor, assistant director and writer.

As a writer he contributed episodes in seasons 3 and 6. He also co-directed eleven episodes of series 6 and handled much of the show’s live-action material. Earlier, Rice directed and wrote the short animated film *Let Me Come In* (2011), which earned a nomination for a BAFTA New Talent award.
