## Biography

Paul Schneider is an American actor. He was born on 16 March 1976 in Asheville, North Carolina, and graduated with a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He has been active since the mid-1990s.

Schneider is known for his role as Dick Liddil in *The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford* (2007). He played Mark Brendanawicz in the first two seasons of the television series *Parks and Recreation* (2009–10). Other film roles include *All the Real Girls* (2003), *Elizabethtown* (2005), *Lars and the Real Girl* (2007), *Bright Star* (2009), *Water for Elephants* (2011) and *Café Society* (2016). He has also been credited as Otto Peotomy.

For his performance as Charles Armitage Brown in *Bright Star* (2009), Schneider shared the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor. He received the Best Actor in a Narrative Feature award at the Tribeca Film Festival for *Goodbye to All That* (2014).
