## Biography

Paul Walker is a screenwriter and showrunner. His television credits include an episode of *Call the Midwife* (2020), multiple episodes of *Red Rock* (2016–2020), for which he also served as showrunner, and episodes of *EastEnders* (2018–2019), *River City* (2022) and *The Professionals* (2022).

He wrote the award-winning docudrama *Stardust* (2006) and the mini-series *An Bronntanas* (2014). Walker has also written for *Ros na Rún*, *The Clinic* and *Fair City*, and created the podcast series *Obscene: A Dublin Scandal* (2022), which won gold at the New York Festivals. In 2024 he won the International Pitching Forum development prize for the docudrama *Flower of Scotland*.
