Paul Wheeler (23 May 1934 – 10 March 2025) was a British screenwriter and novelist. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he was educated at Exeter College, Oxford, and the University of Chicago.

He wrote episodes for television series including *Tenko*, *Bergerac*, *Dempsey and Makepeace* (1985) and *Minder*, and screenplays for films such as *Ransom* (1974), *Caravan to Vaccares* (1974) and *The Medallion* (2003). He married Alexandra Martinez in 1964.
