Paula Maxa was a French actress. She appeared in the 1915 crime serial *The Vampires or, The Arch Criminals of Paris* in the role of a hypnotized woman, also credited as Fleur-de-Lys or Laure, the servant of Moreno.

She was primarily known for her work on the Paris stage at the Théâtre du Grand-Guignol between 1917 and 1933, where she specialised in victim roles and was nicknamed 'the most murdered woman in the world'. Her performances featured exaggerated gestures and expressions of terror. She also appeared in a small number of other films in the 1910s and 1920s, and later directed a theatre in Paris.
