Payman Benz is an Iranian-born television director, producer and writer based in Los Angeles. He is credited as director on episodes of *The Good Place* (2016) and *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* (2013).

Benz began his career directing segments for late-night and sketch programmes including *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* and *Key & Peele*.
