## Biography

Pedro Bromfman is a Brazilian film, television and video game composer. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he studied at the Berklee College of Music, graduating cum laude in 1997, and later studied film scoring at UCLA. He began his career as a session musician, arranger and producer before moving to Los Angeles to focus on scoring.

Bromfman is known for his scores for the Netflix series *Narcos* (2015–2017), for which he composed music across three seasons and performed much of it himself, the 2014 *RoboCop* remake, and the *Elite Squad* films (*Tropa de Elite*, 2007; *Elite Squad: The Enemy Within*, 2010). He has frequently collaborated with director José Padilha. His other credits include *Deep Web* (2015), *Thumper* (2017), *The Panama Papers* (2018) and the video game *Far Cry 6* (2021). He has received awards including ASCAP and Park City Film Music Festival honours.
