## Biography

Pedro Kos is a Brazilian-American film director and editor. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he was raised between Brazil, New York City and Miami, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre directing from Yale University.

He began his career as an editor on documentaries including *Waste Land* (2010) and *The Square* (2013), the latter earning him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing for Nonfiction Programming. He wrote and produced *The Great Hack* (2019).

Kos has directed several features, among them *Bending the Arc* (2017), *Rebel Hearts* (2021) and the Academy Award-nominated short *Lead Me Home* (2021). His narrative debut, *In Our Blood*, premiered in 2024.
