## Biography

Penn Jillette is an American actor, magician and author. He is best known as the speaking half of the comedy magic duo Penn & Teller.

Jillette was born on 5 March 1955 in Greenfield, Massachusetts. He trained at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and formed the Penn & Teller act in the early 1980s. The pair have performed on stage and television for decades, including the series *Penn & Teller: Bullshit!*.

As an actor he has appeared in films including *Hackers* (1995) and *Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas* (1998), and provided voice work for *Toy Story* (1995) and episodes of *The Simpsons*. He is credited as himself on the 2026 series *Stuart Fails to Save the Universe*.
