Penny Cox is a television writer and producer. She received early writing credits on *The Vampire Diaries*, providing the story for the 2016 episode "One Way or Another" and writing the 2017 episode "The Simple Intimacy of the Near Touch".

Cox has written episodes of *Legacies* (2018–2022), *Scream: The TV Series* (2019), *Reacher* (2022–) and *FUBAR* (2023–). She has also worked as a producer on *Reacher* and *FUBAR*. Her other credits include a segment of the 2015 anthology film *Fun Size Horror: Volume One* and production department work on *Texas Chainsaw 3D* (2013, as Penelope Cox).
