Pete Chatmon is an American television and film director. Born in New York City on 1 June 1977, he graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. His career began with the short film *3D* (2000), which was selected for the Sundance Film Festival.

Chatmon has directed episodes of numerous series, including *Grey’s Anatomy* (2005), *Insecure* (2016), *Silicon Valley* (2014) and *Yellowjackets* (2021). He wrote, produced and directed the feature film *Premium* (2006) and the documentary *761st* (2007). He received an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for *The Flight Attendant*.

In 2019 he married actress Kelly McCreary, whom he met on the set of *Grey’s Anatomy*.
