## Biography

Pete McCowen is a cinematographer and camera operator who has worked on numerous wildlife and nature documentaries. He contributed to the cinematography of the BBC series *Planet Earth II* (2016) and appeared as Self - Cameraman in the production. He is also credited as Self in the 2009 series *South Pacific*.

McCowen has worked on other series including *Hostile Planet* (2019), *Seven Worlds, One Planet* (2019) and *A Year on Planet Earth* (2022). He has received a Primetime Emmy Award.
