## Biography

Pete Middleton is a British documentary filmmaker and director, also credited as Peter Middleton. He co-directed and co-wrote the feature documentary *Notes on Blindness* (2016) with James Spinney.

He is a founding member of the collective Fee Fie Foe. With Spinney, Middleton adapted the audio diaries of John Hull into a series of short films before their debut feature *Notes on Blindness*, which won the British Independent Film Award for Best Documentary and received three BAFTA nominations.

Middleton co-directed *The Real Charlie Chaplin* (2021) with Spinney. *Apollo 13: Survival* (2024) was his first solo-directed feature-length film.
