## Biography

Peter Aalbæk Jensen is a Danish film producer. Born on 8 April 1956 in Osted, he graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1987. In 1992 he co-founded the production company Zentropa with director Lars von Trier.

He produced *Breaking the Waves* (1996) and has served as executive producer on numerous films, including *Dancer in the Dark* (2000), *Dogville* (2003), *Antichrist* (2009), *Melancholia* (2011) and the *Nymphomaniac* films (2013). He has also produced work by other directors, such as *The Salvation* (2014).

In 2001 Jensen received an honorary Bodil Award, shared with producers Vibeke Windeløv and Ib Tardini, for his contributions to Danish cinema.
