Peter B. Kowalski is a cinematographer and director who has worked primarily in American television. He began in the camera department, serving as camera operator and first assistant camera on the series *Babylon 5* (1994–1998).

Kowalski was director of photography on *One Tree Hill* (2003) for 61 episodes between 2004 and 2012, and directed seven episodes of the series from 2008 to 2012. He has held similar cinematography roles on series including *Rizzoli & Isles* (2013–2016), *The Last Ship* (2017–2018), *The Gifted* (2017–2019) and *Walker* (2021–2024), where he also directed one episode. Additional credits include directing episodes of *Rizzoli & Isles*.
