Peter Banifaz, also credited as Payam Banifaz or Payam Banifazl, is an Iranian actor and comedian based in Los Angeles. Born Payam Banifazl in Tehran, Iran, he immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of eight. He holds an MBA from California Lutheran University and has performed improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade for over a decade.

His television credits include a recurring role as Farhad across three seasons of *Shameless* (2011), as well as appearances in *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* (2013), *Veep* (2012), *Silicon Valley* (2014), *Superstore* (2015), *Lethal Weapon* (2016), *Grand Crew* and *Night Court* (2023).
