Peter Batten was a British actor. He provided the voice of George Harrison for approximately the first half of the 1968 animated film *Yellow Submarine*, though he was uncredited. Director George Dunning cast him after overhearing him speak in a Liverpudlian accent in a London pub, despite Batten having no prior acting experience. Halfway through recording, Batten was arrested as a deserter from the British Army of the Rhine; his remaining lines were completed by Paul Angelis.
