## Biography

Peter D. Beyt is a television editor whose credits include the ABC sitcom *Better Off Ted* (2009). He has worked on numerous comedy series since the late 1980s.

Beyt began his career editing documentaries, commercials and music videos after film school. He was hired in 1988 to edit *The Golden Girls* and later directed episodes of that series and *The Golden Palace*. His subsequent editing credits include *Will & Grace*, *The Exes*, *According to Jim*, *Living with Fran* and *Malibu Country*.

He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Multi-Camera Picture Editing for a Comedy Series for the *Will & Grace* episode "Grandpa Jack" (2018) and received further nominations for the series.
