Peter Bowman is a film editor and music editor. He is credited as one of the editors on the 2025 documentary *Cover-Up*, directed by Laura Poitras and Mark Obenhaus, which explores the career of investigative journalist Seymour Hersh. He also worked as music editor on the film.

Bowman has contributed to several documentaries in editorial roles. His credits include additional editor and first assistant editor on *Girls State* (2024), assistant editor on the television series *USA v. Chapo: The Drug War Goes on Trial* (2019) and the miniseries *How to Fix a Drug Scandal* (2020). He received a Cinema Eye Honors nomination for Outstanding Editing on *Cover-Up*, shared with his co-editors.
