Peter Bryant (27 October 1923 – 19 May 2006) was an English television producer and script editor. He began his career as an actor, appearing regularly in the BBC soap opera *The Grove Family* (1954–1957), before working as a radio announcer and scriptwriter at the BBC, where he rose to head the Drama Script Unit.

In 1967 he transferred to television and joined *Doctor Who* as a story associate and script editor alongside Gerry Davis. He served as associate producer on *The Faceless Ones* and *The Evil of the Daleks*, then as full producer on *The Tomb of the Cybermen* (as a trial) and subsequently from *The Web of Fear* to *The Space Pirates* (1968–1969). He was also script editor on *The Abominable Snowmen*, *The Ice Warriors* and *The Enemy of the World*, and cast Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor. He later produced the series *Paul Temple* (1969–1971).
