Peter Burton (4 April 1921 – 27 November 1989) was an English film and television actor. Born in Bromley, Kent, he began his career in the early 1950s and remained active until his death.

Burton played Major Boothroyd, the Secret Service armourer, in the first James Bond film *Dr. No* (1962). He appeared in other films including *A Clockwork Orange* (1971) as a junior minister, *Lawrence of Arabia* (1962) as a sheik (uncredited), *Sink the Bismarck!* (1960) and *The Scarlet and the Black* (1983). His television credits include episodes of *The Saint* and *UFO*.
