## Biography

Peter Cheung Yiu-Chung, also credited as Peter Cheung, Cheung Yiu-Chung, Chang Yao-Chung and Peter Chung, was a Hong Kong film editor. He began his career in 1963 at the Motion Picture and General Investment Co. Ltd (MP&GI), where he trained in editing, and later joined Golden Harvest when it took over the studios in 1971.

Cheung edited more than 200 films over nearly four decades, including *Enter the Dragon* (1973), *Fist of Fury* (1972), *The Way of the Dragon* (1972), *Project A* (1983), *Police Story* (1985), *Rumble in the Bronx* (1995) and *Center Stage* (1991). He received the Golden Horse Award for Best Film Editing nine times.

He left Golden Harvest at the end of the 1990s and died in 2023.
