Peter Curran was a British film editor, director, writer and producer. Born in London in 1924, he began his career as an editor in the early 1950s.

His editing credits include the Hammer Films production *When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth* (1970), as well as *The Tell-Tale Heart* (1953) and *London Entertains* (1951). He later directed and wrote several feature films, including *The Cherry Picker* (1974) and *A Touch of the Sun* (1979). Curran also wrote episodes for the Supermarionation series *Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons* (1967–1968). He died in Hampshire in 1999.
