## Biography

Peter David was an American writer of comic books, novels, television, films and video games. Born in Fort Meade, Maryland, he graduated from New York University with a degree in journalism and began his professional career at Marvel Comics before becoming a prolific freelance author.

He wrote two episodes of the television series *Babylon 5* (1994–1995) and one for its spin-off *Crusade* (1999). He co-created the Nickelodeon series *Space Cases* with Bill Mumy. His other television credits include episodes of *Young Justice* (2010–2019) and *Ben 10: Ultimate Alien* (2010–2011). David also authored numerous *Star Trek* novels and tie-in works, including three *Babylon 5* Centauri Prime novels.

He died on 24 May 2025.
