## Biography

Peter De Neergaard is a Danish production designer and scenographer. He was born on 29 September 1953 and trained as a scenographer at Statens Teaterskole between 1979 and 1985.

He began working in theatre and action theatre in the 1970s with Teatergruppen Solvognen before debuting as a scenographer in 1986. De Neergaard has served as production designer or art director on more than thirty Danish feature films, including *Bleeder* (1999), *Fear X* (2003), *Headhunter* (2009) and *Murk* (2005), as well as the television series *The Bridge* (2015, season 3).

*Der var engang en dreng – som fik en lillesøster med vinger* (2006) received a Robert Award for best scenography. He has also contributed to other series such as *Nynne* and *The Sommerdahl Murders*.
