## Biography

Peter Deming is an American cinematographer. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1980 and is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.

He has collaborated frequently with directors including David Lynch, Sam Raimi and Wes Craven. His credits include *Evil Dead II* (1987), the *Scream* sequels (1997–2011), *Mulholland Drive* (2001), *The Cabin in the Woods* (2012), *Oz the Great and Powerful* (2013), *The Menu* (2022) and *Spider-Noir* (2026). He served as director of photography on the 2017 revival of *Twin Peaks*.

Deming received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography for *Mulholland Drive* and a Primetime Emmy nomination for his work on *Twin Peaks*.
